The questions I hear most often, answered plainly and honestly.
How much does a website cost?
I'd rather not give a price before I understand what you need, because the cost changes with the size of the site, the content, and whether you also need Google setup or advertising. In a 15-minute chat I'll tell you what I suggest and what it costs, clearly.
How long will it take?
A simple presentation website usually takes me two to three weeks. The timing depends a lot on how quickly we gather the copy and the photos. If you're in a hurry, tell me from the start and we'll organise the order differently.
Who writes the copy and finds the photos?
I write the copy myself, based on what you tell me about your work, and then you read it and we adjust anything that doesn't sound like you. For photos I prefer your own, from real jobs, and where there aren't any I find good alternatives.
What happens after launch?
I show you how to make the simple changes yourself, and I keep the site updated and secure. When you want something new, you write to me and I take care of it. You always talk to me, not to a support desk.
Do I need advertising too, or is a website enough?
It depends on how soon you want results. A website and a Google Business Profile bring people steadily, but they need time. Advertising brings calls faster, for as long as it runs. Usually we start with one and add the other when it makes sense for you.
Will people find me on Google?
I work on that from day one: a clean technical base, proper copy for your services and your area, and a properly set up Google Business Profile. I can't promise a specific position, because nobody controls that. I can promise to do well everything that depends on me, and to show you the numbers.
